He knew Dylan before he became very famous (met him in NYC) and he made the album called “Aufray chante Dylan”with Dylan’s full consent. The stayed friend for a long time after that. The album is better than most of the French copy of that time and the French lyrics are quite good.
Sorry but I’m a big fan of this French singer so I couldn’t help myself when I read the article which is making a very good point by the way!!
